From J.P. Morgan’s massive healthcare conference to annual meetings on robotic surgery, diabetes technology and heart devices, the medtech industry’s calendar is filled with key events for professionals to attend.
Industry members from around the world will travel to events throughout the year to learn about the latest news in the medtech sector. In the first half of 2026, the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons will hold its annual meeting in early March in New Orleans and DeviceTalks will host its event in late May in Boston.
In the second half, the American Society for Radiation Oncology, HLTH and the American Heart Association will be hosting meetings. Meanwhile, AdvaMed will hold its annual medtech conference in October in Boston, one of the biggest medtech events of the year.

American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons

The AAOS is one of the top organizations in the orthopedic space. The group’s annual event will bring together professionals to attend sessions and workshops focused on topics around multiple specialties, including spine, hip and knee reconstruction, trauma and sports medicine.
DeviceTalks Boston

DeviceTalks Boston connects people across the medtech industry for a two-day event. Prior meetings have included speakers from Medtronic, Boston Scientific, Zimmer Biomet and Stryker, and the event has covered topics like engineering and developing prototypes and devices, product design, company building, financing, funding startups, manufacturing and bringing new products to market.
The American Diabetes Association’s 2026 Scientific Sessions

The ADA’s 2026 Scientific Sessions will include the latest abstracts and clinical trials presented by companies and researchers. Past sessions have included the latest data on diabetes technology, including research on glucose sensors and insulin pumps.
Society of Robotic Surgery Annual Meeting

The SRS is a group of healthcare professionals focused on topics related to robotic surgery, one of the medical device industry’s fastest-growing spaces. The schedule for 2025 included sessions on spine procedures, telesurgery, hernia, gynecology and transplantation. The meeting also held several live surgery demonstrations.

AdvaMed’s The MedTech Conference

AdvaMed’s annual meeting is one of the medical device industry’s largest events of the year, attracting representatives from every aspect of the space. Regulators and industry members will meet in Boston for four days to learn about the latest news and developments in the sector. The 2025 annual meeting includes sessions on artificial intelligence, diagnostics, diabetes tech and M&A, as well as appearances from top CEOs and a town hall with Michelle Tarver, director of the Center for Devices and Radiological Health.
