    What You Should Know:

    – OutcomesAI, a digital healthcare company pioneering a new model of scalable nursing secures $10M in seed financing led by Santé Ventures.

    – The funding will accelerate the commercial rollout of its hybrid model, which combines AI voice agents with licensed nurses to dramatically extend nursing capacity, reduce operational costs, and provide patients with faster access to critical care.

    The Global Nursing Capacity Crisis

Healthcare providers are currently facing an unprecedented staffing crisis. Nurses often spend the majority of their time on administrative tasks such as triage, follow-ups, and care coordination, leaving only about a third of their shift for direct patient care. This inefficiency is compounded by overwhelming demand: specialty care wait times exceed 30 days, and virtual programs are seeing a tenfold increase in patient messages. The industry is grappling with a projected global shortfall of 13 million nurses by 2030, forcing health systems to rely on costly, strained resources.

Glia®: The AI Engine Built for Nursing

OutcomesAI addresses this crisis with Glia®, its proprietary AI engine purpose-built for nursing workflows. The solution deploys a hybrid intelligence model:

    • AI Voice Agents: Manage inbound and outbound patient calls, handling tasks like capturing symptoms, scheduling visits, coordinating follow-ups, and providing education, all in multiple languages.
    • Licensed OutcomesAI Nurses: Focus on high-value services such as triage, virtual care, post-acute follow-up, and patient support programs.

This blend of technology and human expertise results in a substantial impact on efficiency:

    • It creates 3–5 times more nursing capacity.
    • It reduces costs by 40–50% compared to outsourced nurse triage.
    • It consistently improves the patient experience.

    Accelerating Expansion into Health Systems

The new funding will be used to accelerate OutcomesAI’s expansion into health systems, virtual care programs, and pharmaceutical partnerships. In 2024, the company launched the OutcomesAI Collaboratory with five leading health systems and virtual care companies to validate the safety and clinical performance of the Glia engine. Early findings from this work are already demonstrating measurable ROI, including cases where the Glia engine reduced nurse workload by hundreds of hours per month while doubling patient-to-nurse ratios.

“Healthcare is running out of nursing capacity, and incremental fixes won’t solve it,” said Kuldeep Singh Rajput, Founder and CEO of OutcomesAI. “With OutcomesAI, we’re not replacing nurses — we’re multiplying them. By combining AI voice agents with licensed nursing teams, we give back time to the people at the center of care, reduce burnout, and build a sustainable, scalable model for the future.”
