What You Should Know:
– ARC, the innovation arm of the world-renowned Sheba Medical Center, and Revealense, a creator of a neurological-AI engine, have announced a joint venture.
– The collaboration will focus on delivering an advanced neurological diagnostic solution that uses a standard webcam to provide precise, clinically validated diagnoses for a wide range of neurological, cognitive, and developmental conditions in a patient’s home.
Addressing a Major Clinical Need
The first diagnostic protocols will be led by Dr. Omer Bar Yosef, Director of the Child Development Center at Sheba Medical Center, and will focus on autism, ADHD, and related conditions. The venture aims to dramatically reduce the time needed for diagnosis and enable earlier detection, potentially allowing for initial assessments as early as 6 to 12 months of age.
The integrated solution will allow diagnostic assessments to be conducted at home via a standard webcam, making the process more convenient and accessible. This at-home setting also allows for more accurate data collection as subjects remain in their natural environment. The behavioral analysis platform will assess an individual’s condition, consider environmental influences, monitor changes over time, and recommend personalized, treatment-supporting care plans.
Dov Donin, Founder and CEO of Revealense, stated that this collaboration represents a “profound shift in how we understand, diagnose, and treat neurological disorders”. He noted that the use of computational models, deep psychophysiological measurements, and real-time monitoring places the joint venture at the forefront of a “clinical revolution”. The goal is to accelerate development and regulatory processes, with a planned market launch in early 2026.
