    What You Should Know

    • The Launch: ARC (the innovation arm of Israel’s Sheba Medical Center) has officially launched ARC Landing Boston in partnership with the administration of Massachusetts Governor Maura Healey.
    • The Mission: The accelerator serves as a “soft-landing” platform for global healthtech companies attempting to enter the notoriously complex U.S. market, providing direct access to clinical environments, regulatory support, and venture capital.
    • The Inaugural Cohort: The accelerator is launching with six high-growth startups—CustoMED, FeelBetter, Nuri Braintech, Modulight, UltraSight, and XEOS—which have collectively raised $85 million to date.

Scaling Global Startups in the U.S. Market

The accelerator has debuted with six high-growth startups from ARC’s global network that have collectively raised $85M to date. These companies are entering a platform that already includes more than 130 startups with a combined portfolio value exceeding $6.7B.

    The initial cohort includes:

    • XEOS (founded 2019): Advancing cancer surgery via real-time molecular imaging in the operating room.
    • UltraSight (founded 2018): AI-powered cardiac ultrasound that allows non-specialists to perform diagnostic scans.
    • FeelBetter (founded 2019): An AI-driven platform designed to optimize medication management at scale.
    • Modulight (founded 2022): Developing precision optogenetic therapies for severe neurological conditions.
    • CustoMED (founded 2023): An AI and 3D-based platform for personalized orthopedic surgical planning and implants.
    • Nuri Braintech (founded 2024): A novel brain-computer interface therapy for PTSD and treatment-resistant conditions.

    Strategic Economic and Clinical Impact

ARC Landing Boston is expected to be a significant economic driver for Massachusetts by creating high-quality jobs and attracting international capital. By connecting global entrepreneurs with local providers and investors, the initiative solidifies the region’s position as a global leader in healthcare innovation.

“Massachusetts is the global landing pad for healthcare companies looking to scale in the United States,” said Economic Development Secretary Eric Paley. The program offers participants direct access to clinical environments for rapid implementation, strategic mentorship from industry leaders, and integration into ARC’s global investment platforms.
