BOSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Health Tech Without Borders (HTWB), Inc., an international, 501c3 non‑profit devoted to expanding access to digital health tools, today released its first report from its Global Health Survey Series. The 2025 cross‑sectional survey – conducted by M3 Global Research and supported by Digital Health New York and the City University of New York School of Public Health Foundation – captures the usage and satisfaction of over 1,000 clinicians worldwide with evidence‑based reference and clinical decision support platforms.

UpToDate and MDCalc are the most frequently accessed resources, used monthly by roughly three‑quarters of clinicians across the globe. Emerging generative‑AI platforms continue to gain traction and have the potential to improve healthcare delivery.

“Clinicians trust what their peers value most. As large language models begin to harness full-length journal articles, apply robust safeguards, and embed the highest levels of domain expertise, they will not just supplement, but truly transform clinical practice,” Dr. Bob Arnot, HTWB Chief Innovation Officer.

The survey also reveals that user satisfaction strongly correlates with adoption: UpToDate and MDCalc achieved positive Net Promoter Score (NPS) scores.

    Survey Methodology

    • 1,000+ non‑surgical, English‑speaking clinicians across the United States and internationally
    • 85% physicians; 15% physician assistants/nurse practitioners
    • Participants required ≥30 hours of patient interaction per week
    • NPS calculated using Bain Consulting’s standard 0–10 scale
